The Herbert Bail Orchestra

From the depths of the American indie-folk movement hails the vast and heart-warming musical journey known as The Herbert Bail Orchestra. Based in the understanding of emotion and deception, this uniquely talented group transcends the modern portrayal of performance with utmost lust for the craft. Following the release of their first, self-titled EP in 2011 comes a full length album entitled The Future’s in the Past.

From a young age, lead singer and guitarist Anthony Frattolillo spent his Friday nights helping a New York City janitor, Juan, a Chilean immigrant, finish his duties so that the man could teach Anthony guitar and everything he knew about music . Years later, armed with an overwhelming sense of vigor and awe-inspiring honesty, Frattolillo and accordion player/trombonist Andrew Katz, lead a rogue ensemble whose unique and earnest narrative prods the imagination of their listeners to look deeper — even into themselves. With deep and compelling humility, Frattolillo and Katz are joined by up to seven other members of the rotating cast, revealing vast and sprawling soundscapes, etched out with violin, trumpet, trombone, banjo, keys, bass, and percussion.
This video paints the musical portrait set forth by the passionate vigor of Herbert Bail as they converge in Los Angeles, Austin, Las Vegas, and of course on the main stage at Lightning in a Bottle 2013.

Moms Say No to GMOs

Our exciting new project we’re calling, Laboratory Lunch: Moms Say No to GMOs, is both immensely important and dear to our hearts. Growing out of the hundreds of testimonials we have collected along our travels, this is perhaps the most exciting project we’ve undertaken since the making of Genetic Roulette – The Gamble of Our Lives.

With the help of stellar filmmakers (who we’ll be announcing soon), we are going to lift the veil on mothers who saw dramatic recoveries in their children—from serious illness to behavioral conditions—after removing genetically modified ingredients from their diets. The journey many families take to rid their dinner tables of GMOs is often one fraught with frustration and emotion—from shopping to cooking to dealing with the inevitable social challenges. The compelling and empowering stories they’ll tell not only deserve, but demand to be heard!

Russell started The Confluence six years ago in the stages before “digital” and “publicity” were a unified concept — and has since lead many successful campaigns across a wide spectrum of verticals. Through that time Russell has gained valuable relationships with press, artists, brands and tastemakers as well as developed a set of best practices for techniques for running the most effective digital publicity campaigns. Currently, Russell leads campaign strategy and business development and all production elements for The Confluence. Recently, Russell lead a course on tastemaker marketing, at the prestigious General Assembly in Santa Monica, CA and been profiled on Millennial Magazine as a pioneer of digital strategy. Russell graduated from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Marketing and an emphasis in entrepreneurship.

Melissa produces video content, strategizes and manages digital publicity, content marketing and social media campaigns for music festivals, entertainment and lifestyle brands. Prior to The Confluence, she lived in the Bay Area and was a public relations consultant for government agencies while simultaneously owning and running an entertainment agency producing circus theater and music videos, while providing cutting-edge entertainment for festivals, corporate events and private

Eric’s work has received several honors including: Campaign of the Decade (“I’m a Mac I’m a PC”), “Outdoor Campaign of the Decade” (iPod Silhouettes), and “Agency of the Decade.”
